We are seeking a highly skilled Bioprocess Scientist to join our Innovation & Technology Development team at Panda International. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a central role in designing new processes for the manufacturing of APIs, collaborating with partners and CROs, and leading laboratory research to develop and optimize biocatalytic transformations.
Key Responsibilities- Process Development: Design new processes for the production of new pipeline APIs, ensuring compliance with GMP and Safety regulations.
- Research and Development: Design and execute laboratory research, overseeing work done by technicians, and monitoring internal and external developments in the biocatalysis field.
- Project Management: Plan and manage projects to achieve deadlines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate enzymatic processes into overall drug development pipelines.
- Technology Transfer: Collaborate with the Tech Ops team for successful process implementation, ensuring seamless technology transfer to manufacturing sites.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Foster strong collaborative relationships with partners and CROs, leading collaborations with a deep understanding of technologies applied.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with GMP and Safety regulations in all activities, monitoring and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Education: PhD in biocatalysis, biochemistry, or related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in process development in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Skills: Deep understanding of enzyme technology, bioconversion, and enzyme purification techniques, advanced level of English language (written and spoken), and knowledge of GMP.
- Personal Qualities: Results-oriented, proactive, and team-oriented attitude, with strong leadership skills.
