At Tradebe, we are committed to fostering a culture of innovation and sustainability. As part of our Global department, we are seeking a IT Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Corporate Engineering team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems, networks, and information across all business lines.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in system security, with proven experience in implementing and monitoring security measures. They will be responsible for identifying and defining system security requirements, designing computer security architecture, and developing detailed cybersecurity designs. Additionally, they will prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols, configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices, and develop technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced international environment, collaborating with various departments and infrastructure teams. They will have a deep understanding of security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc. They will also have experience with network security and networking technologies, as well as system, security, and network monitoring tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
- Identify and define system security requirements.
- Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cybersecurity designs.
- Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
- Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices.
- Develop technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer.
- Detailed technical knowledge on security.
- Hands-on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
- Experience with network security and networking technologies, as well as system, security, and network monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with web-related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and network/web-related protocols.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
