Job Summary:

Mar Recruitment & Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Rigger Foreman to coordinate a team of riggers during offshore projects worldwide. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rigging operations, team leadership, and safety management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise the work of riggers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Monitor and maintain the condition of rigging equipment and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the maritime team to ensure smooth mooring and unmooring of vessels and cargo barges.
  • Provide regular tool box talks and JSAs to ensure team members are aware of safety procedures and protocols.
  • Support the 1st Assistant and Deck Foreman in making decisions related to lifting operations and safety.
  • Report any incidents, near-miss events, or unsafe working conditions to the relevant authorities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Offshore Rigger Foreman in the contract scope of work.
  • Holding valid BOSIET and Rigger Certification.
