Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Development & Investment Analyst to join our Development & Investment team in Madrid. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing corporate financing lines, optimizing project financing lines, and executing interest rate and currency hedging operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Corporate Financing: Manage corporate financing lines with banks and in capital markets, ensuring optimal financing structures and terms.
  2. Project Financing: Optimize project financing lines for the group's subsidiaries, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  3. Guarantees and Insurance: Manage lines of guarantees, surety insurance, and other guarantees to mitigate project risks.
  4. Acquisitions and Divestments: Value and execute acquisitions and divestments, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  5. Financial Derivatives: Execute interest rate and currency hedging operations via options, swaps, futures, and other financial derivatives.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or a similar field.
  2. Language Skills: Excellent English language skills (written and speaking) C1 level is a must.
  3. Personal Skills: Problem-solving oriented and strong analytical skills, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure.
  4. Technical Qualifications: Experience of at least 2-3 years or more working as a Finance Analyst, preferably in the energy sector, desirable experience in companies in the energy sector, preferably renewable energy, experience with international payment, guarantee lines, and financial derivatives.
