**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced People Relations Expert to join our team in the UK or European office location. This is a full-time position that requires up to 30% travel over the course of the year.

**About the Role:**

This position requires an individual with significant experience in people relations, functional human resources, or labor/employment law. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in workplace/EEO investigations and/or labor/employment law, with a strong background in applying employment & labor laws throughout the UK and EU within multiple countries.

The central objective of this role is to ensure fair, respectful, and consistent treatment of every employee. To achieve this, the People Relations Expert will work proactively to enhance the employee experience by identifying and addressing employee concerns early, de-escalating and resolving workplace issues before they reach a critical level. Additionally, the individual will work on proactive initiatives that improve employee relations and engagement, as well as undertake reactive efforts on critical employee relations issues.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Partner with business leaders and HR teams to create and sustain positive people relations programs and best practices.
  • Work directly with employees at all levels to identify, address, and resolve concerns through mechanisms like listening sessions, focus groups, conflict resolution, and one-on-one coaching.
  • Design and deliver positive people relations trainings and communications.
  • Analyze, diagnose, design, and revise people programs, policies, and practices to sustain positive people relations.

**Requirements:**

  • Seven years in people relations, functional human resources, or labor/employment law, with at least five years of experience in workplace/EEO investigations and/or labor/employment law.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree, law degree, or other specialized training in people relations a significant plus.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making, deploying emotional intelligence in every interaction with our employee base.
  • Experience working with large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data to identify root causes, recognize patterns, and develop creative, innovative solutions for complex problems.
  • Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills, enabling the individual to establish partnerships and work collaboratively across management levels and personalities.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills in an ambiguous environment with the capacity to work autonomously to manage competing priorities simultaneously while driving projects to closure.

**Salary:** £80,000 - £100,000 per annum (depending on experience).
