Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Services Consultant to join our team at Fortinet. As a key member of our Professional Services organization, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop a thorough understanding of customer engagements, including objectives, project scope, and business and technical requirements.
  2. Lead technical conversations to clarify and assess all aspects of an engagement.
  3. Participate in design workshops with customers and/or partners, providing input as necessary.
  4. Develop and improve project-related documents, including technical architecture diagrams.
  5. Perform deployment, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of Fortinet security solutions in the customer environment.
  6. Work closely with the PMO team to ensure successful project completion.
  7. Assist customers through the rollout, migration, or go-live phase for deployed security solutions.
  8. Deliver knowledge transfer sessions for customer staff on relevant Fortinet security solutions.
  9. Proactively communicate project information to customers and/or Fortinet management as appropriate.
  10. Participate in highly visible projects and own the resolution of complex technical escalations.
  11. Review peer documents for technical accuracy and quality assurance.
  12. Ensure project documents are accurate, complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  13. Complete and submit internal administrative tasks, including timesheets, activity reports, and project reports.
  14. Continuously develop knowledge and skills to remain proficient with relevant Fortinet technologies, products, and services.
  15. Propose and implement changes in relation to Professional Services practices.
  16. Mentor new hires during the onboarding phase, providing insight on technical aspects and procedures.
  17. Contribute to Professional Services collateral, including templates, methodologies, best practices, and lessons learned.
  18. Collaborate with services and sales organizations.
Requirements
  1. 7+ years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support, and/or administration.
  2. 6+ years of experience with Network Security Products.
  3. Vendor experience is a plus.
  4. Experience working as a Professional Services consultant or engineer.
  5. Expertise in NGFW and at least 4 of the following technologies: Email Security, Advanced Threat Protection, Endpoint Security, Application Security, Web Application Firewall, Network Security Management, SIEM, Network Virtualization, Software Defined Networks (SDN), and/or other cloud-based technologies.
  6. Strong knowledge of 3rd party network or security solutions.
  7. Experience in designing and implementing solutions for SMB, Enterprises, and Telco/MSSP.
  8. Scripting or development skills.
  9. Very good presentation and technical documentation skills.
  10. Good troubleshooting skills with a structured approach to problem solving.
  11. Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  12. Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, clients, other departments, and executive team.
  13. Ability to adapt seamlessly to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
  14. Ability to multitask between several projects and customer engagement, and collaborate with peers on project delivery.
  15. Flexible working hours.
  16. Positive customer service attitude with excellent soft skills.
  17. Ability to bring projects to successful completion through technical sensitivity.
  18. Strong commitment and self-driven individual.
  19. Extensive travel (up to 60%). Ability to travel at very short notice periods domestically and internationally as needed.
  20. NSE 1-7 or equivalent. Other industry certification in relation to security or networking.
Education

Master Degree in technical or management discipline and/or equivalent extensive work-related experience.
