About the Role

**Enterprise Security Architect**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enterprise Security Architect to join our team at Swiss Re. As a key member of our Security Team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's security strategy and ensuring the implementation of robust security standards across our IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain technical security standards and guidelines for our public cloud environment
  • Review, advise on, and approve security standards for various technologies within our IT landscape
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within our Enterprise Architecture teams to drive long-term cloud adoption
  • Ensure business domain architecture aligns with group security requirements and provide feedback on business domain-specific requirements
  • Oversee and ensure security requirements are set and implemented during application development and adhered to during the application life cycle
  • Advance technical and organizational security competences and adapt to emerging security trends
Requirements
  • Passion for enterprise security architecture and a strong background in security architecture
  • Several years of experience in security architecture or solution architecture
  • Significant knowledge of major cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and standard methods
  • Can-do attitude with a proactive approach towards challenges and a strong track record of producing tangible results
  • Expertise in several of the following cybersecurity areas: application security, modern authentication and authorization protocols, cloud-native architectures, network security, APIs, and gateways
  • Familiarity with creating, implementing, and reviewing security standards in a regulated environment
  • Familiarity with agile application development processes and related security challenges
  • A high level of integrity, result-oriented approach, and composure under pressure
  • Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English
