Senior Finance Professional

Sulzer Ltd, a leading engineering company with a rich history of innovation, seeks an accomplished FP&A Controller to join its Finance team in Madrid, Spain. This exciting opportunity involves collaborating with international stakeholders, leveraging finance expertise, and contributing to the success of a newly established office.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and consolidate the annual budget, ensuring alignment with company objectives and financial goals.
  2. Forecasting and Analytics: Periodically refresh and update predictive financial forecasts to reflect the latest business trends and market conditions.
  3. Performance Reporting: Conduct thorough profitability and performance reporting, identifying key financial metrics.
  4. Plan Analytics and Risk Assessments: Perform detailed plan analytics and risk assessments, continuously improving financial planning and analysis processes.
  5. Business Recommendations: Provide recommendations to the business based on in-depth financial analysis, supporting strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or similar finance roles; exposure or interest in the industrial sector is a plus.
  3. Strong skills in financial modelling, forecasting, and data analytics, with a solid understanding of global finance processes and standards; proficiency in Tagetik, Qlik, and/or integrated ERP systems is advantageous.

Estimated Salary: €73,375 per annum (based on location and industry standards)
