Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary:
The Assistant Store Manager is a key role in ensuring the success of our retail stores. This position is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in upholding daily store operations, maximizing sales and profitability, and providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in managing store operations, including merchandising execution, expense management, and inventory control.
- Train and develop store personnel to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor and control all aspects of operational compliance, safety, and business standards.
- Support the training of employees in suggested selling and merchandising techniques.
- Ensure company customer service standards are upheld.
Requirements:
- Requires a minimum of one (1) year in retail management.
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Must be able to maintain an exemplary degree of professionalism in all situations.
- Results driven with demonstrated critical and creative thinking skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Individuals must be able to stand for extended periods of time; lift, carry, push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work extended hours during critical project phases; and able to work in a fast pace, dynamic environment with flexibility.
