Job Description:

The Petroleum Inspection Specialist is responsible for performing basic inspection work in petroleum and petrochemical terminals and refineries. The role also involves conducting inspection work on board barges and ships, adhering to industry standards and procedures published by API and Saybolt.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist other inspectors from the department and Account Managers in their responsibilities duties of the location.
  • Responsible for the efficient work within the location, ensuring that client needs are met accurately and in time.
  • May work at different locations and on offshore operations as requested by the company.
  • Develop and fulfill functions related to port activity and sometimes offshore on high seas.
  • Ensure full cooperation with the department and Managers on all assignments.
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role require regular lifting and/or moving up to 10 Kilograms, and frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25 Kilograms. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics of this role include regular exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and frequent exposure to toxic or caustic noise levels. The work environment noise level is usually moderate.

$65,000 - $85,000 per year

We estimate the salary for this position to be between $65,000 and $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Please note that this is an estimate and may vary based on individual circumstances.
