Job Summary

As an IT Server Infrastructure Architect at Ipc Systems, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing server infrastructure solutions that meet the company's growing needs. This role requires a strong understanding of server technologies, including Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and Hyper-V, as well as experience with cloud infrastructure technologies and hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and deploy server infrastructure solutions that meet the company's requirements for scalability, availability, and security.
2. Manage and maintain server environments, including hardware, software, and storage systems.
3. Implement and oversee monitoring tools to ensure the health, availability, and performance of server environments.
4. Develop and implement disaster recovery and backup procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
5. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure that all server environments are secure and comply with security policies and standards.
6. Evaluate current server capacity and anticipate future needs to support company growth, making recommendations for upgrades and scalability.
7. Manage relationships with hardware, software, and service vendors to negotiate contracts and ensure timely support.
8. Oversee the troubleshooting of server-related issues, coordinating with other departments to ensure timely resolution.
9. Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures.
10. Manage the budget for the server infrastructure, ensuring cost-effective procurement of hardware and services.

Requirements

1. 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
2. Strong experience with server technologies, including Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and Hyper-V.
3. Proficiency in cloud infrastructure technologies and hybrid cloud environments.
4. In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, storage solutions, and virtualization.
5. Experience in managing disaster recovery, backup solutions, and high-availability systems.
6. Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

What You Will Achieve

You will play a critical role in the implementation and management of the enterprise Windows & Linux server infrastructure, ensuring the company's IT systems are secure, available, and scalable. You will promote security best practices, maintain regulatory compliance, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
