The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is an international biomedical research institute of excellence, based in Barcelona, Spain, with more than 400 scientists from 44 countries. We are seeking a highly skilled Research Technician with expertise in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF) to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our partner hospital to collect and process samples for IHC and IF.
- Perform image acquisition and optimize the image acquisition and data analysis pipeline.
- Work with our team to develop and implement high-throughput image analysis and subcellular proteomics techniques.
Our laboratory specializes in cutting-edge techniques such as high-throughput image analysis, subcellular proteomics, transcriptomics, genetic screening, bioinformatics, and cell and molecular biology. We are a dynamic team of about 10 people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, working together to advance our understanding of metabolic enzymes and their role in chromatin functions.
Requirements- More than 5 years of experience as a research technician.
- Proven expertise in tissue handling, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and image analysis.
- Desirable skills include experience with customizable image analysis pipelines, knowledge of cancer biology, and proficiency in Western Blot, cell culture, qPCR, and other routine cellular and molecular biology techniques.
