Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to join Amazon's vendor recruitment team as a Vendor Manager within the Amazon Consumables business in Europe. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for onboarding and scaling the most customer-relevant brands across the EU for the first 12-18 months on Amazon Retail.

About the Role

In this role, you will be faced with numerous challenges such as identifying, prospecting, and reaching out to new vendors, analyzing their potential for Amazon, and negotiating annual terms with a vendor to ensure long-term sustainable growth. You will also lead first steps by cold-calling potential partners or attending commercial events and trade fairs, and confidently explaining advantages and benefits of partnering with Amazon. Additionally, you will help new vendors integrate their catalogue data into the Amazon platform, master Amazon's internal tools, and train vendors on how to use these tools.

Your Objectives

As a Vendor Manager, your primary objective will be to drive scaled growth for our Retail business in Europe through cultivating vendor partnerships and onboarding the brands most desired by EU customers. You will be expected to meet and exceed business and/or financial KPIs, work with a wide range of people at all decision-making levels, including C-suite, and experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales cycle activities.

Basic Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • 4+ years of retail or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience;
  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Demonstrated track record of success in meeting and exceeding business and/or financial KPIs;
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional internal and external audiences;
  • Ability to work with a wide range of people at all decision-making levels, including C-suite;
  • Experience with large data sets and insight generation using Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year (dependent on location and experience)
