Paralegal Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team at The San Mateo County Bar Association. The successful candidate will provide legal assistance to attorneys, act as a liaison with internal clients, outside counsel, and external organizations, and compile data from various sources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide paralegal support to the Campus Counsels, including research, fact-finding, and document preparation.
• Conduct research on projects as directed by attorneys, and assist in analyzing documents and counseling on case progress.
• Prepare and file legal documents with appropriate entities, and communicate with University personnel, outside counsel, and opposing counsel.
• Identify further investigation that may be necessary, and organize and analyze material and information obtained.
Requirements:
• A strong understanding of legal principles and procedures, and excellent research and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
