Key Responsibilities- Support Category Managers in developing sourcing strategies for product-related categories, interacting with business partners and stakeholders.
- Assist in negotiations to secure the best Total Cost of Ownership contracts and commercial agreements with suppliers.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of assigned categories' impact on business performance, including price volatility.
- Support Category Managers with analytical tasks, such as spend analysis, market analysis, and supplier analysis.
- Ensure adherence to purchasing procedures and ISO requirements.
- Support initiatives on procurement strategies, SRM, Sustainability, audits, and other projects.
- Act as a backup for operational activities within the Non-product-related area, including SAP-related tasks.
We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, business, or engineering. 1-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the chemicals industry, is required. Strong analytical skills, excellent Excel skills, and fluency in English are essential.
