Job Summary
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Global Supplier Quality and Development Engineer to support the growth and development of the global supply chain and ensure quality and sustainability compliance of critical raw materials. The successful candidate will work closely with the Global Supply Quality and Development manager and collaborate with the Global Category Manager for Oils, Chemicals, and Insulation raw materials.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive supplier quality agenda to ensure sustainable quality in the category
Evaluate the quality management system of suppliers and align on corrective actions
Conduct on-site audits and verify the effective closure of corrective action plan items
Lead the production part approval process (PPAP) for new supplier parts/materials
Monitor and consolidate supplier delivery and quality KPIs
Identify top concern suppliers and lead performance improvement actions
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the process industry and experience in supplier quality. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
