Job Summary:
Hyva is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee all financial aspects of our Spanish and Portuguese entities. As a key member of our Country Management Team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliant, timely, and accurate country reporting.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning and control processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Manage and maintain all aspects of accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and associated internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, as well as internal controls.
- Coordinate tax, legal, and internal control activities.
- Manage the monthly processing of payroll, including overtime, expense claims, and travel expenses.
- Coordinate salary payments in cooperation with the HR department.
- Process journal entries and provide payroll tax.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Controlling, or Accounting.
- 3-5 years of experience in finance, preferably in a similar role.
- Advanced analytical skills and trend analysis.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization.
- Strong command of English, fluent in Spanish is a must.
