About the Role

Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public sector institution dedicated to promoting and developing innovative biomedical research. We are seeking a highly skilled individual to support the management of institutional competitive calls, focusing on talent attraction and retention. The successful candidate will work closely with the Internal Strategy Area team and collaborate with various units within the HR Area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of institutional competitive calls, including writing rules of participation, dissemination, and planning of the internal calendar.
  • Elaboration of internal selection criteria for external calls when required.
  • Coordination of the Internal Evaluation Committee during prioritisation processes of external competitive calls.
  • Coordination of interview phases of different institutional calls.
  • Feedback meetings with researchers.
  • Elaboration of reports to improve internal processes related to the management of calls.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Health Science.
  • High level of Spanish and English, spoken and written (Proficiency level).
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Person with a proven hands-on attitude, flexible, adaptable, creative, and dynamic, with excellent organisation and project management skills.

Desired Qualifications
  • Master's degree and a PhD will be valued.
  • Experience in Instituto de Investigación en Salud Acreditado (IISA).
  • Experience managing national/international and public/private calls, with a focus on Talent Attraction and Retention competitive calls.

Labour Conditions
  • Full-time position: 40h/week.
  • Starting date: Immediate.
  • Gross annual salary: 26,000 – 30,000 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills).
