Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Protein Mass Spectrometry Scientist to join our department of Innovation. The successful candidate will participate in the development and validation of assays and sample analysis for qualitative and quantitative analysis of proteins using liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and validate assays for protein analysis using liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry techniques
- Perform sample analysis for qualitative and quantitative analysis of proteins
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals
- Write technical documents and reports
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in protein mass spectrometry and related technologies
- Master's degree or PhD in health sciences, with research experience in biology, biomedicine, pharmaceutical science and technology, biotechnology, biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry, or bioengineering
- Good knowledge of method development for characterization of proteins with liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry techniques used in proteomics
- Good knowledge of HPLC/UPLC and mass spectrometry instrumentation and software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Good writing skills and proficiency in English
- Knowledge of working in a regulated laboratory environment
