About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary School Science Teacher to join our vibrant and growing school community. The successful candidate will have a passion for inspiring students and a solid understanding of the IGCSE curriculum across all three sciences: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The ability to teach Chemistry or Physics at A-Level would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To deliver high-quality teaching, assessing students' progress, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • To plan and execute learning activities tailored to meet the needs of every student.
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments.
  • To communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding student concerns and progress.
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an internationally recognized teaching qualification.

A degree in a science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).

Proven ability to teach all three sciences at IGCSE level.

Specialism in Chemistry or Physics with the ability to teach either subject at A-Level (desirable).

A passion for education and a commitment to student development and academic excellence.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately £35,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including health insurance, relocation assistance, and opportunities for professional development.
