Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Requirements Analyst Lead, your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Developing and proposing approaches for analysis activities;
  • Planning analysis activities;
  • Establishing the contribution of technology to business objectives, drawing up strategies, conducting feasibility studies, producing high-level and detailed business models, preparing business cases, overseeing solution development and implementation, and considering the implications of change on the organization and all stakeholders;
  • Providing supervision and guidance to Junior Requirements Analysts;
  • Ensuring the cohesion and coherence of requirements packages, considering dependencies within and outside the project;
  • Performing requirements elicitation, identifying clear and qualified requirements from unstructured information;
  • Organizing, tracing, prioritizing, specifying, and modeling requirements;
  • Drafting IT software requirements and building up requirements packages;
  • Verifying and validating requirement packages with relevant stakeholders;
  • Maintaining up-to-date requirements and system documentation;
  • Promoting requirements reuse;
  • Assessing Requests for Change (RfC);
  • Assessing IT systems and solution limitations, recommending actions to increase solution value;
  • Participating in internal workshops and European networks to analyze, discuss, and propose improvements to process and system quality;
  • Designing and producing high-quality graphic presentations, project documentation, and reports in English;
  • Conducting and supporting User Acceptance Tests (UATs);
  • Developing Business Test Scenarios for stakeholders during UATs;
  • Providing training to support roll-out (if required);
  • Communicating the impact of changes to stakeholders;
  • Supporting Office teams on other areas/activities/tasks (e.g., architecture, development, quality assurance, and control);
  • Contributing to defining quality standards in functional documentation;
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to lead the definition and improvement of standards and best practices applied regarding requirements analysis;
  • Coordinating Business Analysis service and reporting activities.


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:



  • A minimum of 7 years of full-time professional experience in IT activities, with 4 years specialized in requirements analysis;
  • Proven experience as an analyst of IT systems: analyzing, eliciting, gathering, and drafting clear and implementable requirements, working with use cases, business process modeling, or data modeling;
  • Experience in requirements analysis and Business Process Modeling (BPM);
  • Practical experience in using requirements management tools;
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical mindset;
  • Ability to propose solutions aligned with the Office's strategies;
  • Fast learner, able to take up analysis tasks quickly in a new domain;
  • Responsible, self-organized, able to work to tight deadlines proactively in a team; good time-management skills and ability to prioritize and report;
  • Communication skills: excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, able to participate in multilingual meetings and communicate effectively to all levels of stakeholders;
  • Interaction skills: good facilitation skills, able to lead and influence;
  • Team worker, willing to share knowledge as well as to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Capable of working in an international/multicultural environment;
  • Able to moderate discussions and negotiate effectively to resolve differences;
  • Customer-focused;
  • Knowledge and effective use of modeling tools, requirements management tools, and other productivity tools;
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain the quality of the analysis service under pressure;
  • Knowledge of requirements gathering standards and methodologies, i.e., BABOK (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge) or IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis) methodologies (or equivalent);
  • University degree (minimum 4 years' post-secondary education or duly recognized as equivalent to Level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) Bologna Process) in the IT field;
  • Excellent command of written and oral English (C1).


Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $120,000 depending on location and experience.
