Position SummaryAs a Sales Teammate, you'll contribute to achieving sales and profitability goals by maintaining operational excellence and providing a unique Under Armour customer experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Set the standard for customer service and experience in-store.
- Maintain all product and sales floor standards.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and brand stories through active participation in all training sessions: be a brand ambassador.
- Ensure compliance with all UA policies and procedures.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager on all aspects of store operations.
- Meet and exceed individual and team performance goals and metrics established.
- Show a professional and positive attitude and possess exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving: identifies and resolves problems promptly; collects and analyzes information with skill; develops alternative solutions; functions well in group problem-solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
- Customer service: manages difficult or emotional situations with customers; responds quickly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to service and assistance requests; meets commitments.
- Interpersonal skills: focuses on resolving conflicts, not blaming; maintains confidentiality; remains open to others' ideas and tries new things.
- Oral communication: speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and clarifies; responds well to questions; demonstrates presentation skills in groups; participates in meetings.
- Teamwork: balances individual and team responsibilities; demonstrates objectivity and remains open to others' opinions; gives and receives feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit; puts the team's success above personal interests; able to strengthen morale and group commitments with goals and objectives.
Previous retail experience preferred.
