Sustainability Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Analyst to join our team at EcoVadis. As a key member of our Evaluation Services department, you will play a crucial role in producing independent, trusted, and actionable ratings and insights that empower companies to improve their sustainable business practices.
As a Sustainability Analyst, you will assess and report on the quality and robustness of companies' sustainability management systems. Your primary focus will be on qualitative data analysis, centered around the analysis of management system documentation. You will become an expert in applying the EcoVadis methodology, built on rigorous international Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) standards and frameworks.
Responsibilities- Assess companies' management system documentation, applying the EcoVadis methodology throughout the analysis process.
- Understand and extract material sustainability data related to environmental, social, ethics, and supply chain from management system documentation.
- Follow up with rated companies to clarify specific issues related to their assessment.
- Stay up-to-date with regular updates regarding the EcoVadis methodology and apply them to the assessment process.
- Perform quality checks during the assessment process.
- Work on daily targets and confirm the implementation of a rated company's sustainability management system components using the EcoVadis methodology guidelines.
As a Sustainability Analyst at EcoVadis, you will have the opportunity to grow professionally and develop your skills in sustainability, including the EcoVadis methodology. You will work closely with our international team of analysts and have the chance to pivot some of your time to work on development projects, expanding your career horizons.
Requirements- Minimum 6 months of professional experience, preferably in a related field focused on Sustainability or Sustainable Development.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and oral) - other languages are a plus.
- High proficiency in German is a great asset.
- Preferably a Bachelor's degree with a focus on Sustainability.
- Proficiency in G-Suite applications.
- Strong reading and comprehension skills.
- Demonstrate analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence to work independently and autonomously, manage time effectively, and know when to ask for help.
- Ability to work to daily targets.
- Being adaptable to change.
- Communicate with honesty and kindness.
- Collaborative and seeks to build trusting relationships.
