As an Associate General Counsel at IPC Systems, you will play a critical role in supporting our EMEA and US business operations. Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer, you will have exposure to various internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Negotiate, draft, and advise on commercial agreements for a technology company, including customer agreements (such as Software as a Service (SaaS), license, capital expenditure (CapEx), maintenance, and managed services agreements) and vendor agreements (including inbound license agreements).
- Support sales, procurement, product management, operations, and finance teams regarding commercial agreements.
- Provide guidance on commercial legal issues and risk mitigation in support of the business teams.
- Manage a wide range of other in-house responsibilities with support from expert external counsel.
- Support the company secretarial function.
- Negotiate, draft, and advise on a wide range of other agreements, including distributor agreements, intercompany agreements, and leases.
- 5+ years of post-qualified experience.
- European or US qualified lawyer.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience with commercial technology contracts.
- Experience with financial technology would be beneficial.
- Bright, high-energy, and committed to always acting with the highest ethical standards.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Committed to contributing to a culture of high performance.
