Job Title: PostgreSQL Developer

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled PostgreSQL developer to join our team at Dabster. As a PostgreSQL developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement database solutions using PostgreSQL to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain database code, including tables, stored procedures, scripts, queries, views, triggers, and more.
  • Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex database issues, including IO bottlenecks.
  • Work with the team to ensure database security and integrity.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest PostgreSQL features and best practices.

Requirements:
  • At least 2+ years of experience in software development and 1+ year as a PostgreSQL developer for a large/high volume project.
  • Strong database fundamentals and experience dealing with database performance tuning, bottlenecks, and database ER modeling.
  • Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics, and isolation levels.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL & PostgreSQL Architecture.
  • Knowledge of JSON and PostgreSQL support for JSON.
  • PostgreSQL certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working on CRM related projects.
  • Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics, and isolation levels.
