**Project Management for Packaging Solutions**
At Matthews International Corporation, we are seeking an experienced Artwork Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our packaging solutions team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating new and updated graphics & packaging projects for our client's brand portfolio.
Your primary objective will be to co-ordinate the pack change process for all projects, including packaging artwork, artwork amends, repro, proofs, and all services provided by our team. You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining project and job status trackers, communicating key milestones and critical path timelines to all key stakeholders, and escalating any risks to critical path timelines as necessary.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collate and submit accurate briefs to our production centre
- Collate amends and briefs to our production centre
- Co-ordinate and lead pre-artwork meetings with the support of our technical manager, where appropriate
- Collate and distribute meeting minutes and actions
- Advise on print and technical feasibility for all assigned projects, with the direct support of our SGK Print Technical Team and Operational Teams
- Co-ordinate press attendance, where applicable, with our SGK Print Technical Team
- Ensure the overall requirements of the client are clearly understood, and that appropriate actions are taken to deliver the highest levels of service possible
- Support the control and development of brand consistency and print feasibility on behalf of the client, along with our SGK Print Technical Team and Operational Teams
- Be responsible for getting approval of jobs from each relevant client department before release of fully approved files
**Requirements:**
- Excellent organisational skills and logical approach
- Demonstrate strong project management skills
- Remain calm under pressure
- Strong knowledge of FMCG print processes and packaging materials, so as to understand the limitations and/or restrictions faced by designers
- Attention to detail
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office
- Some experience/knowledge of Adobe products
- Experience/knowledge of working with FMCG brands
