About the Role

The Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship Specialist will develop, implement, and manage strategies and programs that promote sustainability within the organization. This role involves collaborating with different departments to ensure that the company's practices and policies are environmentally responsible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies and programs that align with the company's mission and values.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure that environmental responsibility is integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop recommendations for reducing the company's ecological footprint.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure that they adhere to environmental sustainability standards.
  • Monitor and report on the company's environmental performance and progress towards sustainability goals.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related fields.
  • Professional certifications in sustainability such as LEED or ISO 14001.
  • In-depth knowledge of European, Spanish, and British environmental regulations and standards.
  • Experience in energy, water, and waste management.
  • Knowledge of life cycle and carbon footprint analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Availability to travel frequently between London and Spain.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
