About the Role

The Global Fleet Category Head is responsible for leading all strategic and operational aspects within the Fleet category on a Global/Regional level. This includes developing proposals for strategic business decisions and providing high-value procurement and operational solutions to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Category Strategy and Planning
  • Drive and implement category strategic goals from overall Procurement strategy/Ecosystem management.
  • Derive game-changing strategies by defining clear category objectives, working with analytical data, business stakeholders, and market expertise.
  • Align strategies to measurable targets and clearly convey them to the organization.
Financial Management
  • Participate in and/or lead financial discussions, applying financial knowledge to participate actively in budgeting processes, including tax aspects in sourcing strategies and structuring sophisticated deals with ecosystem partners.
Compliance and Risk Management
  • Support reports to determine appropriate compliance levels, monitoring end-to-end compliance (budget, payment, vendor PO, contract invoice, buying channel, etc.) and deriving corrective actions to improve compliance.
Project Management
  • Plan, organize, and manage projects, taking into account priorities, resources, budgets, issues, and constraints to achieve desired results.
  • Define clear project scope and objectives, utilizing software and tools to plan, track, and report status.
Fleet Sourcing and Operations
  • Execute the Source-to-Contract process, including respective strategies, approaches, and methods.
  • Oversee Fleet operations activities in line with category strategies and in compliance with relevant policies and operating procedures.
Stakeholder Management
  • Analyze specifications for optimization, linking specification to customer value, and challenging specification confidently.
  • Achieve results by proactively building long-term, sustainable, and effective relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, strategic planning, and project management, with experience in the pharmaceutical industry. They will be able to analyze complex data, develop strategic plans, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
