About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Language Data Curator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and tracking large amounts of language data from a voice assistant software, validating language fixes, and contributing to software improvements. This software is used by hundreds of millions of users globally, offering a tangible impact on a technology used daily.

Key Responsibilities
  • Focus on the international aspects of a personal voice assistant software.
  • Data localization to your specific locale.
  • Hands-on reviewing and modeling of voice assistant utterances through software tools.
  • Interaction with international testing teams and engineers to help reproduce issues and test features.

Requirements
  • Native language and cultural proficiency in one of the following locales: French (from Canada).
  • Fluency in English (if not native).
  • Foundational knowledge of linguistics, particularly phonetics.
  • Cultural awareness and up-to-date exposure to pop culture, country politics, etc.
  • Flexibility to respond and react to changing priorities quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to track, analyze, and report issues.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to understand and prioritize tasks and issues.
Bonus Points
  • Prior experience in Data Annotation.
  • Familiarity with ML/NLP solutions.
  • Experience with Mac environment.
