User Experience Researcher for Subscriptions

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience Researcher to join our team at Dow Jones & Co. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting user research to inform the design of our consumer products, including The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, and MarketWatch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with UX architects and designers to define outstanding end-to-end user experiences for our consumer audiences.
  • Contribute to overall product direction in collaboration with other functional area leads by delivering actionable evaluations of proposed and current UX solutions.
  • Play an integral role in centralizing and organizing user insights in a knowledge repository.
  • Report on current projects and use of resources.
  • C coordinate testing with third-parties and internal teams.
  • Demonstrate all product-related UX documentation with sound and clearly communicated rationale.
  • Take part in research and insight communication across a multidisciplinary team throughout each phase of a project.
  • Stay informed with UX research trends and techniques, and proactively pursue knowledge for professional development.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on how UX can best achieve business goals supporting UX strategy and overall best practices for user experience.
  • Facilitate hands-on problem solving sessions, events, and workshops with cross-functional teams.
  • Supply in-depth research reports that help with decision-making.
  • Assist in the development and tracking of product behavioral and attitudinal performance measures.
  • Answer questions on product experience, including behaviors, pain points, ideas for improvement.
