About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management & Governance specialist to join our Integrated Informatics team at Roche. As a key member of our Data & Analytics Chapter, you will play a crucial role in driving and promoting efficient and effective information management throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify information value opportunities through strategic discussions with Senior Business and IT Leaders, providing decision support and driving the lead in implementing information strategies.
  • Act as the Informatics representative to define Information and Data Strategies as part of an overall Business Strategy, ensuring alignment with business requirements and processes.
  • Improve the overall quality of the enterprise data assets through the effective application of best practice in information design, information flows, and structure, automation, and information representation.
  • Collaborate with project teams to advise on best practices and implementation of data management and governance initiatives.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a big-picture thinker who understands the value of data to the organisation and the importance of good information management practices, including information lifecycle management, information modelling, master data management, and business requirements gathering.

You will be responsible for improving business performance and cost optimization through the use of business glossaries, information models, repositories, and flows to meet the requirements of the business strategies and business processes.
