As a Senior Pricing Data Analyst at FREE NOW, you will be responsible for developing and refining dynamic pricing strategies to balance rider demand and driver supply in real-time. You will work closely with data science and engineering teams to implement machine learning models that improve pricing decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to generate new product feature ideas and improvements, and estimate the potential impact of planned projects
  • Develop and refine dynamic pricing strategies to balance rider demand and driver supply in real-time
  • Work with data science and engineering teams to implement machine learning models that improve pricing decisions
  • Engage with product squads to gain an understanding of problems that need to be solved, gather requirements, and define deliverables to match business needs
  • Own analysis from ideation to communication of results and make recommendations to all levels of the company, including senior management
  • Develop and evaluate A/B tests and other analyses to measure and report the performance of released features
  • Work with developers and data engineers to create and capture data aligned with business logic and allows modeling and analysis
  • Be involved throughout the complete product lifecycle to guarantee a data-driven process
  • Bring new insights and champion them using analyses, dashboards, and good storytelling

Requirements:

  • Curiosity and a drive to answer WHY things happened, not just scratching the surface but aiming for well-founded actionable results
  • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other fields with a strong mathematical-statistical background
  • Previous experience as a Senior Data Analyst in a data-driven analytics environment, preferably within tech product organizations, with direct contact with stakeholders
  • Previous experience working with pricing topics such as pricing elasticity, dynamic pricing, supply and demand incentives, Value-Based pricing, and subscriptions
  • Exceptional analytical skills, lateral thinking, and proven experience in solving highly challenging problems
  • Very good knowledge of SQL, databases, and statistical programming tools (e.g. Python, R) for exploratory analyses, reports, and ETLs
  • Advanced expertise in designing digital experiments and extensive hands-on experience in analyzing and interpreting A/B test results, supported by a strong foundation in statistical knowledge
  • Experience working with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlikview) and event tracking (e.g. Mixpanel, GA, Firebase)
  • Ability to mentor junior analysts, guide their growth, and help them develop new skills
  • Understanding of how to engage and influence decision-makers using data visualisation and storytelling, with excellent English communication skills
