Senior Automotive Technologist

Outrigo, a leading engineering consultancy company, seeks an experienced Senior Automotive Technologist to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside a team of technicians and engineers to deliver high-quality products that meet all attribute targets. As a key member of the project team, you will play a crucial role in preparing and maintaining test vehicles throughout the testing process.

• Preparation and maintenance of test vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal condition for testing purposes.
• Conduct thorough fault-finding and problem-solving activities to identify, report, and resolve any issues that arise during testing.
• Provide on-track support, including overseas test locations, to ensure seamless testing operations.
• Measurement and documentation of vehicle parts, maintaining detailed records for reference and analysis.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An Engineering or Automotive Degree or Skilled Trades degree in automotive.
• Extensive experience in whole vehicle testing within OEM, Tier-one, or testing facilities.
• Proficiency in conducting full vehicle testing, ensuring comprehensive evaluation of all vehicle attributes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of SW Diagnostic tools and skilled in troubleshooting techniques to quickly identify and rectify problems.
• Skilled in fabrication, problem solving, and instrumentation techniques.
