Role Overview

Suntory Global Spirits is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Manager to design, plan, and operate the company's cloud computing infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the stable management of the organization's cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and implement cloud strategy and architecture
  • Support day-to-day operations of cloud infrastructure to ensure security and stability
  • Define system requirements in alignment with application architects and owners
  • Responsible for third-party support team(s)
  • Generate scripts and templates required for the automatic provisioning of resources
  • Discover standard cloud services offerings, install, and execute processes and standards for optimal use of cloud service provider offerings
  • Monitor the consumption of cloud resources, request fulfillment turnaround, application performance, and systems security posture

Team Collaboration

Vendor Management – Ability to work with managed infrastructure teams onshore and offshore support teams. Direct management of internal reports. Involved activities with other Support Leads, Support Partner, Third Parties, and other IT Infrastructure Groups.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 15 years systems experience including 5 years managing, designing, and delivering cloud infrastructure solutions. Consulting background preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including ability to develop and present initiatives or proposals to audiences that include Business or IT leads.
  • Experience of driving technical teams through to delivery.
  • Core Competencies: Work in tandem with our Security and platform teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company. Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of quality and design.
