About the Role

This is a remote position that requires candidates to be based in EMEA time zones. We're looking for talented individuals to help us grow and shape the future of the Grafana plugin ecosystem.

Our Team

The Plugins Platform Team is dedicated to making Grafana plugins easy to build and maintain. Our main focus is on tooling, platform, and great documentation for Plugins in the Grafana Ecosystem. We also ensure that our community voice is heard and that we help our teams track and grow their engagement with our broader Grafana community.

Responsibilities
  • Adding new functionality to our Go SDK
  • Talking to developers about improvements necessary in our platform or tooling
  • Collaborating with tech writers about adding new documentation to our developer portal
Requirements
  • Comfortable working in a remote-first company and understanding the importance of communication
  • Enjoy learning, growing, and supporting others to do the same
  • Solid experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a solid experience working with Go
  • Enjoy working as a team, being collaborative, friendly, kind, and respectful
  • Ability to drive work independently, but knowing when to reach out for help
  • Care deeply about developer and user experience and the quality of the products that you work on
  • Participate in on-call rotations for our area of responsibility and drive operational improvements
  • Enjoy being part of the community, interacting with the community, and communicating design decisions clearly in written and spoken English
Nice to Have
  • Experience writing Grafana plugins or working in another plugin development ecosystem
  • Experience working with Apache Arrow or similar columnar data serialization libraries
  • Experience working with data integration systems
  • Experience operating and scaling highly available API services in different cloud providers (GCloud, AWS, etc.)
  • Experience with TypeScript/React ecosystem
Compensation

In Spain, the Base compensation range for this role is EUR 88,000 - EUR 106,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. Benefits include equity, bonus (if applicable) and other benefits listed here.
