Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fuel Systems Engineer to join our team at Airbus Defence Space SAU. As a key member of our Engineering Department, Systems CoC, you will contribute to the development of Fuel Systems for the Future Combat Air System (FCAS).

Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the definition of Fuel Systems architecture and allocate functions, requirements, performance, and integrity level for subsystems and equipment.
  • Develop systems, subsystems, and equipment specifications under the frame of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
  • Perform hydromechanical, functional, performance, and thermal modeling of system behavior and individual system components.
  • Liaise with various groups within Airbus, including Flight Test, Safety, Chief Engineer's Office, Programs, Airworthiness, Customer Support, MAP/FAL on-site, and Procurement.
  • Elaborate relevant documentation for airworthiness, certification, and qualification purposes.
  • Support testing activities, including definition of test requirements, test execution, test tracking, and test reporting.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Hydromechanical Modeling tools under MBSE environment (Matlab, SIMULINK, Amesim, or similar) is mandatory.
  • Experience in Hydromechanical systems is mandatory.
  • Experience in Thermal Modeling is desirable.
  • Experience in Control Monitoring (Electronic/Avionic) systems is desirable.
  • Experience in Data Analytics is desirable.
  • Negotiation level in English (both written and verbal) is mandatory.
