We are seeking a highly skilled Combustion Applications Specialist to join our team at Air Products. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving the sales of our applications technology and supporting the growth of our merchant business across Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities: Identify new prospects, develop and present proposals, negotiate contracts, oversee projects, and provide process expertise during start-ups, including applications and 3G product lines.
- Provide Technical Expertise: Provide process expertise and technology differentiation to onsite bid teams looking to secure larger 3G supplies of oxygen/nitrogen/argon/hydrogen as well as liquid gases sales contracts.
- Manage Partnerships and Identify New Opportunities: Manage existing partnerships and identify new opportunities for collaboration.
- Contribute to New Developments: Provide sales, marketing, and process input for new developments.
- Support and Train Sales Teams: Support and train country sales teams as needed.
- Represent Air Products: Represent AP at conferences, exhibitions, and seminars.
- Relevant Degree: Relevant degree (typically engineering-based).
- Business Experience: 5 years of business area/marketing experience within Air Products or a related industry.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Commercial and Negotiation Skills: Proven commercial and negotiation skills to provide the required level of direction and input to customers and other sales teams.
- Leadership Skills: Leadership skills necessary to provide commercial direction.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate at all levels within the company.
- Time Management: Able to handle and prioritize multiple demands and commitments.
- Financial Acumen: A sound grasp of cash flow analysis and related financial tools.
