About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Senior Finance Analyst to join the Lodging & Media Solutions Commercial Finance Team at Expedia, Inc. In this role, you will work closely with the Media Solutions and Strategy teams and be a key partner to stakeholders driving commercial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical support on strategic projects to grow adoption of our Lodging supply and Media Solutions products.
- Participate in a variety of strategic projects, distilling complex financial data into impactful and actionable commercial insights.
- Proactively partner with business stakeholders to better understand Risks & Opportunities, analyze business trends, and investigate variances versus expectations.
- Develop financial business cases to support investment decisions and contribute to the broader team & cross-functional deliverables.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science) or equivalent related professional experience.
- 2/3+ years of relevant experience.
- High level of intellectual curiosity that drives a sense of ownership and desire for continuous improvement.
- Strong interpersonal skills, results-driven, and highly motivated, with the ability to think big and small.
- Well-organized, very independent, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work on multiple projects within challenging timelines.
- Ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-financial audiences to drive better decision-making.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Highly proficient with SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and willing to learn Tableau, Python.
