Occupational Medicine Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Doctor to join our team at Amazon Spain Fulfillment Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing medical checks related to occupational and workplace risks, reviewing and certifying medical check results, and providing explanations to stakeholders as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform medical checks related to occupational and workplace risks
- Review and certify medical check results
- Provide explanations to stakeholders as needed
- Review Medical Service assets, instruments, and inventory, detecting and reporting any issues or improvement opportunities
- Provide first aid assistance when needed
- Participate in local EHS team reviews and analyses of Risk Assessments, suggesting improvement measures
- Liaise with relevant authorities, Mutua, and Servicios de prevención ajenos in relation to work-related incidents investigations
- Provide OHS consultations and support to all stakeholders
- Develop medical service annual reports and epidemiologic reports, analyzing results and providing improvement plans
- Advise local and central teams regarding Medical Service findings and needs
- Prepare and carry out Medical Services plans according to agreed schedules
- Ensure compliance with Spanish law in Amazon Spain Fulfillment SLU environment
- Track implementation of training programs to meet the needs of managers and associates in regards to critical safety issues
- Track implementation of ergonomics programs where needed
- Lead and track implementation of required processes to ensure paperwork complies with Spanish law
Requirements:
- University degree in Medicine specialized in Occupational Medicine (Medicina del Trabajo)
- At least two years of experience as an internal or external Occupational Doctor
- Strong communication skills, leadership, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus
- Ability to give support to different Fulfillment Centers, capable of traveling periodically at regional level
- Fluent in Spanish
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accredited knowledge in Occupational Health and Safety, industrial and logistics environment
- Knowledge about local OHS-related procedures, administration complaints, and legal issues
- Experience in managing and developing a team is a bonus
