Job Summary

As a Server and Food Service Professional at Marriott International, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to our guests. Your role will involve serving food courses and alcoholic beverages, setting tables according to service standards, and communicating with the kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Set tables according to type of event and service standards
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability
  • Record transactions in the MICROS system
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
