Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Product Manager for Monetization and Payments to spearhead our monetization vision and payment infrastructure strategy. As a key member of our team, you will drive the monetization efforts for our next phase of growth, focusing on our German tax filing product.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop a Clear Monetization Strategy: Build a robust and future-proof payment infrastructure to support our revenue growth ambitions.
  2. Payment Infrastructure Expertise: Leverage cutting-edge technology to ensure a seamless and reliable payment experience for users.
  3. Payment Gateway Integration: Own the integration and management of payment gateways, ensuring secure and seamless transactions for users.
  4. Revenue Growth Optimization: Oversee our monetization strategy to drive revenue growth, including pricing models, subscription plans, and in-app purchases.
  5. Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to monitor performance of monetization features, making data-driven adjustments to optimize revenue.
  6. Experimentation and Validation: Conduct A/B testing and other experimentation methods to validate monetization hypotheses and refine strategies.
  7. Collaboration and Communication: Build strong relationships and proactively communicate with commercial and senior leadership as well as other product teams to create a shared understanding of monetization levers, metrics, and learnings.
  8. Monetization KPIs: Define and align on clear monetization KPIs to guide prioritization, measure impact, and report progress.
Qualifications

We are looking for a seasoned professional with:

  • Over 7+ years of experience in digital product management, with a significant portion dedicated to monetization and implementing scalable payment infrastructures.
  • Advanced understanding of various monetization models.
  • Extensive experience in payment infrastructure, including integration with payment gateways, managing transaction security, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in data analysis to drive pricing strategies and optimize revenue streams.
  • Expertise in conducting A/B testing and other experimentation methods to validate monetization hypotheses.
  • Successful collaboration with cross-functional teams to align monetization and payment strategies with broader business objectives.
