The Project:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in the renewable energy industry. Our teammates come from diverse backgrounds, and we're committed to building an inclusive culture based on trust and innovation. As a member of our distributed team, you will develop new technologies to solve real business problems and contribute to the growth of our client, who is revolutionizing the way businesses and consumers use energy for the better.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and deliver high-quality software as a key contributor to the team.
Utilize CloudFormation and AWS Cloud Development Kit to create Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Mentor junior team members and share your expertise to contribute to the team's growth.
Advocate for and contribute to establishing an Agile and DevOps culture in the team.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with knowledge of Gradle for building applications.
Advanced skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design patterns and best practices.
Experience with Microservice Architecture and Event-Driven Architecture.
Proficiency in AWS services, including SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, CloudWatch Events, Lambda, DynamoDB, DynamoDB Streams, Kinesis, Secret Manager, and more.
Experience with Jenkins and Agile/DevOps practices and tools.

Nice to Have:
Knowledge of Docker containers.
Experience with Azure.
Experience with Nexus repository.
Experience with Monolith to Microservices migrations, knowledge of migration patterns.
