The Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in the renewable energy industry. As a key contributor, you will design, implement, and deliver high-quality software using CloudFormation and AWS Cloud Development Kit. You will also mentor junior team members and contribute to establishing an Agile and DevOps culture.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-quality software using CloudFormation and AWS Cloud Development Kit
  • Mentor junior team members and share expertise
  • Contribute to establishing an Agile and DevOps culture
  • Work on a project in the renewable energy industry
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge and demonstrated ability with Java and Spring Boot
  • Knowledge of how to build an application using Gradle
  • Advanced skills in OOP and software design patterns and best practices
  • Solid experience in Microservice Architecture and Event Driven
  • Architecture Experience with AWS (SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, Cloudwatch Events, Lambda, DynamoDB, DynamoDB Streams, Kinesis, Secret Manager, and many more)
  • Experience with Jenkins
  • Solid experience in culture, practices, and tools related to Agile and DevOps
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in English
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of Docker containers
  • Experience with Azure
  • Experience with Nexus repository
  • Experience with Monolith to Microservices migrations, knowledge of migration patterns
