About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Risk Data Quality Specialist to join our team at Sin nombre. As a Risk Data Quality Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our data, which is essential for making informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Investigate and Resolve Data Issues: Investigate, track, and resolve complex data-related issues, performing root cause analysis to identify and address the root cause of the problem.
  2. Develop and Implement Data Quality Checks: Define, implement, and operate data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of our data, with a focus on reducing errors and improving data quality.
  3. Improve Data Modeling and Reporting: Propose and drive the implementation of improvement measurements for data modeling, reporting, and quality assurance, ensuring that our data is accurate, complete, and consistent.
  4. Develop Data Entry Inconsistency Models: Define and develop models for identifying data entry inconsistencies, ensuring that our data is accurate and reliable.
  5. Define Business and Technical Requirements: Define and develop business and technical requirements for data processes and data flows, ensuring that our data is accurate, complete, and consistent.
  6. Collaborate with International Teams: Collaborate with international teams to provide input on data quality and consistency, ensuring that our data is accurate and reliable.
  7. Coordinate Troubleshooting and Instruction: Coordinate troubleshooting and instruction given to upstream functions to support changes needed, escalating issues to management as necessary.
Requirements
  1. University Degree: Hold a university degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, economics, physics, or mathematics.
  2. Strong Analytical and Numerical Skills: Possess strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and patterns.
  3. Solid Understanding of Data Management: Have a solid understanding of data management, analysis, and processing, with experience working with data management systems and tools.
  4. Advanced Excel Skills: Possess advanced Excel skills, with experience working with data analysis and visualization tools.
  5. Basic Python and Relational Database Knowledge: Have basic knowledge of Python and relational databases, with experience working with data processing and analysis tools.
  6. Ability to Formulate Business and Functional Requirements: Be able to formulate business and functional requirements, with experience working with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business needs.
  7. Good Understanding of Commodity or Financial Trading: Have a good understanding of commodity or financial trading, with experience working with ETRM systems and data management tools.
  8. Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with experience working on multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  9. Good People Skills and Team Player Personality: Possess good people skills and a team player personality, with experience working collaboratively with stakeholders and teams.
  10. Fluent in English Language: Be fluent in the English language, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and teams.
