Customs Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission for sustainability.

• Customs Declaration Preparation: Prepare and submit customs declarations for import and export using SGRE's own Customs Application.
• Trade Compliance: Ensure accurate and efficient customs procedures, including data documentation, customs value accuracy, and preferential documentation.
• Clearance Procedures: Lodge customs declarations with customs authorities and monitor clearance procedures until conclusion.
• Error Processing: Process errors in customs systems, edit file transfers, and create manual templates as needed.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Law, or a similar field, or Higher Degree in Foreign Trade.
• Experience: Background and practice in customs/freight forwarding, with experience in customs processes (export, import, Intrastat, customs classification tariff, and preferential/non-preferential origin determination).
• Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish and good command of English.
