Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Vessel ICT Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the electrical team on ICT and communication side, ensuring good IT knowledge is applied.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control on-board electrical/electronic equipment according to safety procedures.
- Define maintenance work setting priorities and propose maintenance schedule.
- Propose to own superior the required quantity of material stock levels in order to maintain work continuity.
- Ensure that work activities are carried out in compliance with safety procedures and practices.
- Ensure the efficiency and the maintenance of ICT equipment (server, communication antennas, telephone system).
- Apply the modification needed in order to the vessel to be in compliance with the project IT requirements.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience on IT management infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Cisco infrastructure system, capability to manage the L3 switch and VLAN.
- Capability to interface the IT and IoT network following the company restriction in term of cyber security.
- Offshore experience.
- Fluent in English.
