About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Pedestal Crane Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining pedestal cranes onboard offshore construction vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crane Operations: Operate the vessel pedestal crane within designated load capacities, adhering to derating tables and safety guidelines.
  • Basket Transfers: Perform basket transfers where permitted and safe, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Certification and Training: Hold Stage 3 Certificate and maintain IMCA Crane Opt. Log Book (or equivalent).
  • Safety and Maintenance: Ensure daily inspections, routine maintenance, and high housekeeping standards in the operator's cabin.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with superiors, engineers, and other crew members to define lifting procedures, report equipment malfunctions, and ensure crane performance.

Requirements:

  • 3-4+ years of offshore experience as an Offshore Pedestal Crane Operator
  • Stage 3 Certificate
  • IMCA Crane Opt. Log Book (or equivalent)
  • Experience with cranes lifting 200-250 tons is preferable
  • Expedience on subsea lifts or knuckle boom cranes
