Aerospace RAMS Engineer

DMD Solutions is a consultancy company specialized in aerospace design and RAMS engineering, providing outsourcing of projects and engineering tools development. Our customers are manufacturers and maintainers of aeronautic products located in Europe. We help them achieve their engineering quality goals with a focus on certification.
As part of our expansion plan, we are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace RAMS Engineer to support our local team in Barcelona. The ideal candidate will have a background in aerospace and a strong desire to work on groundbreaking projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety engineering activities, including hazard identification and mitigation, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Perform reliability and maintainability engineering tasks, such as functional failure modes effects and criticality analysis (FMECA) and reliability assessment (RA).
- Liaise with customers to design a sound certification strategy and support technical discussions with certification entity agents.
- Support the collection and analysis of failure data through a FRACAS process and contribute to the Reliability Review Board discussions.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in aerospace / Aeronautics engineering or bachelor's degree in aerospace / Aeronautics plus related master's degree.
- At least 1 year's experience in engineering for the aerospace industry.
- Language skills: proficient in English both written and spoken.
- Programming skills: Python, Django, CSS, JavaScript, VBA, SQL, C++.
- Advanced user of Excel and other MS Tools.
- Highly organized, proactive, and committed individual.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
Valued Skills:
- Relevant experience in other areas of RAMS engineering.
- Experience in FAR CS-23 & CS-25, FAR CS-27, CS-29, SC-VTOL and SC-Light UAS.
- Knowledge of ARP4754 and ARP4761.
- Knowledge of German.
- Knowledge of Catalan.
