About the Role

We are seeking a talented Graduate Mobile Developer to join our dynamic team at Sage, a leading software company. As a Graduate Mobile Developer, you will be responsible for building high-quality mobile applications using Android development fundamentals, programming skills, and collaboration with non-technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Android Development Fundamentals: Develop a deep understanding of Android Studio, Gradle, and Android SDK.
  • Programming Skills: Enhance your knowledge in Kotlin, the primary language for Android development.
  • Code Reviews and Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable code and learn industry best practices.
  • Version Control: Use Git and GitHub for source code management and collaboration.
  • Debugging and Testing: Master tools and techniques for debugging and unit testing.
  • APIs and Backend Integration: Connect apps to remote databases and services via RESTful APIs.
  • Collaboration with Non-Technical Teams: Work with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure user-friendly and market-relevant applications.
Requirements
  • A MSc Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A passion for AI and a desire to use these skills to drive our products forward.
  • Able to demonstrate a passion for tech, with skills to match.
  • A keen eye for detail and an inquisitive mind to help problem solve.
  • Resilient and determined, able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • An effective communicator, able to collaborate with people from across the world.
