Purchase Engineer for EPC Projects

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced EPC Purchase Engineer to join our team at Eag. The successful candidate will be responsible for supplier qualification, monitoring of NDAs, and updating of project supplier lists.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing, including at least 3 years of experience in EPC project(s)' procurement. Additionally, negotiation of purchase orders and business intelligence skills are highly desirable.

The role will involve leading the process of sending RFQs, expediting the reception of quotations, negotiating, and preparing associated documentation for the Award Proposal to establish purchase orders with potential suppliers.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for elaborating purchasing reports in accordance with the schedule and potential impact on project execution in terms of schedule or cost.

Requirements:

  • Relevant engineering degree
  • 5 years of experience in purchasing, including at least 3 years of proven experience in EPC project(s)' procurement
  • Negotiation of purchase orders and business intelligence skills are highly desirable

Language Requirements:

  • English: Required advanced level both spoken and written
  • French: Desirable advanced level both spoken and written

Job Location:

The role will require temporary work locally near Casablanca, Morocco, with travel to the site near Midelt. After the project's completion, the successful candidate will be based in the HQ in Madrid, Spain.
